Not the kind of dense cheesecake that sits in your stomach for hours. We also tried the sweet potato cheesecake.
I guess the point of coming here is just to say that we have been to Atlanta and had chicken and waffles (which is what Atlanta is supposedly famous for)! Mission accomplished. The chicken wings and waffles were average. There was no surprise to me about my chicken and waffles - it tasted exactly as I expected. We got our food pretty quickly after ordering them. We also ordered some fried green tomatoes and fried okras. I ordered the midnight train, which comes in four chicken wings with waffles. We came here as a party of five and were seated immediately. There you have it! Chicken and waffles! What is the big deal about it? I gotta try it to find out! It is just chicken and waffles in my opinion.You take fried chicken, and put some waffles on the same plate. To this day, I still don't understand why people are crazy about chicken and waffles. I'd def stop again and bring friends next time I'm in Atlanta Peach cobbler was not available when i went neither was the cheesecake but still a good meal and the price is not too too high. My gf had the chicken and waffles combo called "the Midnight train" and was eaten til the last crumb, the waffles taste and are pancake thin not crispy or big as Belgian waffles

Mac and cheese and collards were each very tasty, really no complaints maybe larger portions? The chicken was among the the best I've had, crispy level is expert, flavor profile is excellent and chicken is perfectly cooked. I had the Uncle Ron special with Mac and cheese and collard greens We ordered fried green tomatoes for an app and they were tasty Gladys knight should be proud of having her name On this place. Well, we had to stop in to check out what the fuss was about, and I really never thought of chicken and waffles as such an irresistible combo. They seriously need to vamp up their biz or it will run itself to the ground soon. I would NOT recommend this place anymore. Waiter said they had one new chef in the kitchen with no one helping him but we kept seeing that chef come out of the kitchen to take a break when he needed to be pumping out food. I think they had salmon but was way overpriced so I opted not to eat anything and just watch my guests eat.
No fish, no baked chicken, no healthy options for people who wanna eat something that isn't fried. Their menu now is only half of what they used to have. One customer actually left because his food wasn't coming out. If you are hungry, this is not the place to go. And that's not saying much about this place anymore. I would rather get waffle House waffles and eat them with Popeye fried chicken at home. I don't think I will be coming back here again. Obviously the owners are not paying attention to their business anymore.
This place used to be so crowded but there were only 5 tables with unhappy patrons who were all waiting an hour to get their food. Fried green tomatoes had same chicken batter and had no seasoning. Last time I checked, it's party of 8+ for automatic tip charge. Automatically charged 18% tip for 5 adults and 2 children. It took almost an hour to get our food, servers forgot drinks, no refills, no utensils. I haven't been here in a few years and I took my family from overseas here for some chicken n waffles.
